Available in three standard widths, the Astro offers the small to medium user a compact screening area with Pearson’s unique Adjustable Shaft Mechanism.
The machines consist of a robust chassis housing 12 Star Shafts which can be adjusted to vary the fines sample from 10mm to 50mm. Adjustment is by a simple mechanism which can be operated whilst the machine is working.The operator can vary the fines size instantly, as and when required. Each machine includes fixed speed electric motors and a 2.5 metre long Discharge Conveyor as standard equipment. Hydraulic drive is also available. Built with the larger processor in mind, the Comet features 18 Star Shafts in standard widths of either 1200mm, 1560mm or 2000mm contained within a 5m long chassis. The Comet includes the Adjustable Star Shaft Mechanism and is complete with fixed speed electric motors and a 2.5 metre long Discharge Conveyor.
The Meteor combines either Astro or Comet with a Feed Hopper and Discharge Conveyor within a semi-mobile frame, thus giving the operator full mobility around the site. Drive is by electric motor driven by a self-contained diesel powered generator. Fully hydraulic options are available.

Star Collars - When fitted the Star Collars close up the gap between the star shafts thus giving a finer extraction. The collars are also able to rotate thus improving the cleaning action.
14 Finger Stars - These stars are an alternative to the standard 10 Finger Stars and offer a finer level of extraction for composts and fine soils etc. They are used in conjunction with the Star Collars.
Electric Control Boxes - Where a turn-key installation in required, Pearson offer a range of Electric Control Systems to compliment the Astro and Comet machines.
Remote Star Shaft Adjustment - If the machine is elevated from the ground the Star Shaft Adjuster Mechanism can be operated remotely from ground level by means of a remote electric control.
